Since its creation in 1993, this has been and remains 100% volunteer staffed. No person receives financial compensation for his or her services. All monies raised go directly toward youth programs. We are a faith-based youth organization that believes mutual trust and acceptance are the keys to healthy relationships. The Edgerton Teen Center, governed by Non-Toxic Youth Alternatives, Inc., is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization incorporated in the State of Wisconsin. We place value on teens and have provided a safe and supervised place for young people.
The safety of those who enter our center is a priority. Therefore, the training of volunteers along with strict adherence to policies and procedures regarding sexual, physical, and emotional abuse as well as bullying is a priority. We use training material provided by MinistrySafe, local law enforcement, and Child Protective Services.
